Consider joining us and becoming a member!
Are you a person who loves the outdoors? Do you enjoy walking, running, biking, bird-watching, horse-back riding, exploring the Butter Trail through the Village of Tatamagouche or continuing on east or west to the county lines, perhaps riding your ATV or snowmobile on the 26km long Shortline Trail?
Please consider becoming a member of the Tatamagouche Area Trails Association and give your support to the small group of volunteers who have worked diligently to build, and continue to maintain and protect our trail for the enjoyment of all users. Our membership if currently free.
As a member, there are many ways to volunteer. Try your hand at trail maintenance, spring clean-up, become a trail monitor, help with gardening at our trailhead locations, organize special events, have fun photographing our beautiful scenery and wildlife along the trail, help build a member registry, help with fund-raising or grant writing, or become one of our board of directors.
Did you know these trails are maintained 100% by volunteers? Our trail is funded by grants, generous donors, and in-kind help.
We are looking to fill positions on our Board of Directors. For more information, please contact us at [email protected].
